Returns & Refunds Policy - Retrokilly

At Retrokilly, we carefully select and inspect every vintage and second-hand piece before it is listed for sale. Because our garments are vintage and pre-owned, each piece may have its own individual character, history, and signs of age.

Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Nature of Our Products

All items sold through Retrokilly are vintage and/or second-hand garments and accessories.

Due to their age and previous use, items may naturally show:

Minor signs of wear
Small imperfections
Subtle marks or variations
Signs of age consistent with the character of the garment

These characteristics are not considered defects when they are accurately described or visible in the product photographs.

We make every effort to provide accurate descriptions, measurements, photographs, and condition information for each item.

2. Right of Withdrawal - EU Customers

Customers located within the European Union generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days of receiving their order, without providing a reason, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

3. Return Conditions

Returned items must be:

Unworn
Unwashed
Unaltered
Returned in the same condition in which they were received
Free from additional stains, damage, odors, or signs of use

We recommend taking particular care when trying on vintage garments. Items should not be returned with perfume, makeup, deodorant, pet hair, or other signs of use.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item when exercising the right of withdrawal, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

4. Refunds

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, an approved refund will be processed without undue delay and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Where the right of withdrawal applies, the refund includes the standard delivery cost paid for the original shipment. Any additional cost resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery option may not be refundable.

Refunds will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

We may wait to issue the refund until the returned item has been received or until the customer provides proof that the item has been shipped back, whichever occurs first.

5. Customized & Personalized Orders

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to products that are made according to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized for the customer, where such an exception is permitted by applicable law.

6. Damaged, Incorrect, or Misdescribed Items

If you receive:

The wrong item
An item significantly damaged beyond its described condition
An item that materially differs from its product description

please contact us as soon as possible.

Please include clear photographs and a description of the issue.

We will review the matter and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable law.

7. Vintage Condition

Please remember that vintage clothing is not new clothing.

Minor imperfections, natural signs of age, slight fading, small variations, or other characteristics consistent with the item's age may be part of its authentic vintage condition.

We strongly recommend reviewing all photographs, measurements, and condition descriptions before purchasing.
